NEW 01-2022 Prestige 2PK - IDS improvements.
For heavier, more stressful versions such as the F3J, GPS Light and F5J Storm, plastic servo levers are less suitable and their plastic segment can be damaged during use. That's why we combined IDS from servorahmen and our flight-proven LDS system https://old.f3j.com/precision/lds/index.htm with aluminum parts.
The system is characterized by high accuracy and fast servo replacement. The collet on the aluminum segment also contributes to this. Servo manufacturers have slightly different output shaft dimensions in different servo series, but this collet handles smaller and larger tolerances.
It is currently possible to use these new LDS in Prestige 2PK with KST X10mini, MKS 6130 and MKS 6625HBL mini servos.
The weight gain compared to the plastic version is 17 g for a total of 4 servos in the wing.

Minimum and Maximum AUW for F5J (12g/dm) and GPS-Triangle Lightclass (33g/dm).

IDS Installation files and photos-

It is possible to order a Prestige 2PK equipped with IDS.
For those who want to install the servos themselves, we have prepared a mount, which can be printed on a 3D printer to stick the control horns to the flaps and ailerons.
In particular, the position of the lever in the flap is very important for the correct
function of the IDS system.
